LAMBUSSIE K: Assembly completes Girls’ dormitory block at Piina SHS

The seeming congestion in dormitory facilities at the Piina Senior High school located in the Lambussie Karni district is expected to be minimized following the completion of an additional and standard Girls’ dormitory block for students of the school.

The facility has been handed over to the school authorities for it to undertake the necessary arrangements to migrate students to the new dormitory facility.

Mr. Clement Benin in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com cited that the inadequate dormitory facilities in the school formerly compelled school authorities to convert several classroom blocks for the students.

He therefore noted that the new Girls’ dormitory facility secured for the school will assist relieve the pressure of accommodation in the school.  

The move is in line with the educational support being provided in the system by government to make realistic its target to improve quality and accessibility in the sector.
