KMA: Presiding Members attend conference

Presiding members (PMs) in all the Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) within the country have converged at Kumasi for a two-day conference.

The conference which started today at the Prempeh Assembly hall  in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly seeks to create a platform for the PMs to deliberate on problems facing them and issues obstructing them from discharging their duties as well as recommend possible solutions to such issues.

They will also discuss how best the welfare of the PMs could be enhanced.

Confirming this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, PM for the Ga East Municipal Assembly Hon. Edward Ayitey Aryee said the conference the conference will give them the opportunity to learn new things as well as share their experiences with their colleague PMs.
