A 20-seater two storey water closet toilet facility with urinals constructed at the Dzodze Market has been commissioned.

The GHs86, 000 facility constructed by the assembly through its share of the common fund is a solution to challenges traders were confronted with each time they wanted to obey natures call while doing business at the market.

It keeps the assembly’s hope of creative clean and healthy environment around the market for people to work. The absence of the facility initially compelled people to use any available hide out as urinal which was a health threat to the people.

In a related development, District Health Environmental Officer, Mr. Richard Mawusi Agotse said the assembly has also completed another 8-seater water closet toilet facility at Senye. Aside urinal, the facility at Senye also included baths to enable traders who come from outside the area to take their bath after business.
