SABOBA: REP underway in 5 towns

A number of communities in the Saboba district in the Northern region will shortly benefit from electricity when works finally completes on an extension of grid to those areas.

They are Nankpando, Nayili, Gbenja,Wapuli and Yankanzia, all suburbs under the district.

This came to light in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com by the DCE for the area, Ali Adolf G. John.

He reiterated that the project at the moment is ongoing in various beneficiary areas, and however applauded the pace of works by contractors although it started not too long ago.

The project is part of government’s energy delivery programme discharged through the Rural Electrification Project (REP), and implemented in local communities, especially the deprived settings.
