K NANKANA E: Assembly improves two abattoir facilities

Two abattoirs located at Navrongo in the Kassena Nankana East municipality have been rehabilitated by the Assembly as part of ways to upgrading them meet the desired standard devoid of any environmental health complexities. 

The project was also intended to further assists in boosting infrastructure in trade and commerce in the municipality to develop the area and make it a safe haven for business entities.

A project document available on the desk of Ghanadistricts.com indicated that the project which started in June, 2011 has duly been completed in the area and is currently being occupied by the butchers to conduct their business.

The project implemented under the government’s “Better Ghana” agenda was discharged with funds from the District Assembly Common Fund(DACF).
