OFFINSO: 71 physically challenged supported

With the view of empowering them to take up the pieces of their economic lives, the Ofinso South Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region has provided 71 physically challenged persons in the municipality with working tools.

The tools include sewing machines and quantities of leather materials for making footwear and bags totalling GHs 29,500.00.

Municipal Chief Executive, for the Offinso South Municipality, Mr. Baffour Kesseh Amankwah, during the donation expressed the Assemlby’s preparedness to support disabled in order to make their existing a memorable one.

He however admonished them to use the materials for the purpose to which they were given them.

 Mr. Joshua Yaw Sarpong, President of the Offinso branch of Ghana Federation of the Disabled thank the assembly on behalf of his colleagues.
