ABURA: Assembly signs MoU to construct 400 houses

The Abura/ Asebu/ Kwamankese District Assembly has signed an agreement with Eco- Homes Limited, an Abudayabi based Estate Developer to construct about 400 Housing units in the District.
According to information gathered, the houses will consist of one to four bedroom apartment and will be leased on rent to government officials and private individuals.
Confirming this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, District Chief Executive, William Ata-Mends noted that the assembly had acquired 100 acres land in order to ensure its commencement soon.
He added that the project is scheduled to complete before the 3rd quarter of 2013.
The DCE howevwer expressed optimism that the project when duely completed will serve as a great relief to officials and other private individuals who are currently facing accommodation problems in the area.
