SOCIAL: Prez Mahama soon to present his economic policies

The President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama has indicated that he would present his programmes and policies of the economy in a fortnight.

His paper to be presented to the nation will entail the best ways to push forth the economic prospects of the country.

Mr. Mahama unveiled this in his live broadcast address to the nation last night.

He promised to lead a nation that will thrive primarily on technological innovations, as well as ensure infrastructure development.

According to him, this will help sustain and enhance the socio-economic gains, and also consolidate the progress made so far by his predecessors.

He urged Ghanaians to ‘continue the flame of peace’ and also admonished politicians to take advantage of the peace and unity created in Late Prof. Mills’ funeral to focus and redirect the trend of the political terrain characterized by ‘pettiness and insults’.

He debunked the argument that ‘politics is a dirty game’, but was quick to add that ‘it is as unto politicians who make it so’.
