AHANTA W:3 storey classroom block for St. Marys’ SHS

Work is almost complete on a 3-storey classroom block for the St. Mary’s Senior High School(SHS) in the Ahanta West District.

Chief Executive for the Assembly, Joseph Dofoyenah who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com said the assembly with funding from GETfund thought it wise to construct the  project in a bid to improve teaching and learning in the school.

According to him, the project will help improve the school’s infrastructure facilities which has the tendency to boost enrolment level in the longrun.

However still on education the DCE further noted that, a 3-Unit Classroom block with a befitting sanitary facility had also been completed at Miemia a suburb in the district.

He added that the Landing Beach Committee has financed and completed works on new teachers quarters at Miemia also aimed at improving teachers’ accommodation in the area.
