Mr. Amissah-Arthur, Vice President Nominee hopes to get the nod from the vetting committee of parliament after successfully concluding the vetting process with parliament.
Mr. Arthur has conducted himself well during the process when he tried to answer questions from members of the committee on wide range of issues.
The questions ranged from his personal live, including his sexual orientation which he is speculated to be gay.
In his responds, the nominee denied categorically being gay adding that he is married with children. He described the story which is making way on the web as fabricated and coming from someone who sort financial assistance from him and his assistance was not satisfactory enough to him.
He said the originator of the storey was only interested in exploring him for financial gains, but stated he would not succum to that.
To substantiate his denial, Mr. Arthur said he has never had male house help neither has he had a garage where the purported sexual act took place.
Top on the questions was issues regarding the economy of the country which he dealt with well to the admiration of many who watched and listened to the vetting.
He pledged to give off his best in playing the supportive role to the president to manage the economy for the remaining four and half months and to ensure peaceful and transparent elections.
