TALENSI N:Assembly procures furniture for 4 basic schools

At least four basic schools in certain communities under the Talensi Nabdam district in the Upper East region have been considered by the Assembly to soon get additional school furniture to boost teaching and learning.

The communities that will benefit from the facility when all is set for distribution include Pelungu, Sakoti, Logre, and Yakote respectively.

District Chief Executive for the area, Madame Vivian Anafo in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com pointed out that the move is currently under the final stages of procurement, indicating that very soon school children in the afore-mentioned areas will get adequate furniture for their studies.

She reiterated that the move is discharged fully by the Assembly through the District Development Facility (DDF), adding that it also forms part of moves to push the “Better Ghana” agenda in the district.
