BIBIANI: 99 apprentices supported under REP

The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly in the Western Region in collaboration with the Rural Enterprises Project (REP) have provided ninety-nine (99) newly trained apprentices with startup kits to enable them set up their own businesses.

They include sewing machines, hair-dryers, heavy duty spraying and welding machines.

Mr. Joe Adansi Bondah District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai during the presentation ceremony said government was committed to ending the unemployment rate in the country.

He however urged beneficiaries to use the kits for the purposes to which they were given them.
