SISSALA E:Sakallow-Sentie road project to take-off soon
 | | | Construction ongoing | |
The Sissala East District Assembly as part of agreement in respect for the construction of the Sakallow-Sentie road project has directed that a minimum of 30 residents from the district should be engaged by the contractor as labourers.
This is a strategic measure by the Assembly to ease the economic burden of residents and also improve their wellbeing in the district under the implementation of the “Better Ghana” agenda.
Plans are far advanced on the move in the district as the Assembly has duly sealed the award of contract to enable a quick delivery of the project as early as possible so it could improve transportation on that road.
The 7.5km feeder road project is being facilitated amongst other massive projects executed in the district this year under the Ghana Social Opportunity Project (GSOP).
Information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com from the district suggests that the contractor assigned to discharge works on the project is yet to move to site to commence actual works.
