The dams are to be sited at Kpatinga and Galwei both predominantly farming communities within the district.

In addition to this development, the Assembly has considered the improvement of some roads, which includes kpatinga-Gushiegu and Bogu-Gigo roads respectively.

To this end, the Assembly has duly opened tenders for rehabilitation of such roads to enhance transportation for travelers who often use these stretches of roads.

Highlighting these pockets of development in the area, Mr. Mumuni Isaac Dramani, District Chief Executive for the Assembly said the various projects considered for implementation are all captured under the Ghana Social Opportunity Projects (GSOP).
