BONGO:Community radio project soon to be accomplished

The building of a community radio station in Bongo district to assist further community development is soon to be accomplished this year.

Works on the project in the area has reached appreciable level of completion, as the facility is being roofed to ensure its quick delivery for residents.

The project when finally completed will automatically help in creating a synergy amongst all the Social groups and Civil Society Organizations (CSO) to practically work in partnership to accelerate the growth and development of the district.

The District Chief Executive for the area, Clement Akugre Atiah who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com said the project is being financed through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).

 He said the Assembly committed a total amount of GHS 65,577.15 to power the project in the district.

The project however forms part of the strategies to enhance the rate of development to improve the lives of residents at the district and also ensure the forward march of the “Better Ghana” agenda programme.
