Constructed police post

The Bongo District Assembly has managed to finally complete works on the Police post scheduled for Zorkor, a community within the district.

District Chief Executive for the area, Clement Akugre Atiah who spoke to Ghanadistricts.com concerning the project revealed that contractors are only left with paintings of the facility to duly accomplish all works assigned on the project. 

The constructed police post will have certain ancillary facilities that will help complement and enhance its status, he stated.

He claimed that a total sum of GHS 50,050.65 from the District Assembly Common Fund(DACF) was expended on the execution of the project in the area.

According to him, the project which seeks to improve the security systems in the entire district, also forms part of strategies by government and the Assembly to better the lives of residents under the “Better Ghana” agenda programme.
