ABURA: DCE to cut sod for commencement of new projects

The District Chief Executive for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese, William Ata-Mends will tomorrow cut sod for the construction of new projects in the area.
Projects include construction of classroom blocks and seperate durbar grounds among others and will be financed through the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) and District Development Fund (DDF).
Communities to benefit from the project include Abura Aboase, Obohen, Asoase and Nyamede among others. Speaking in an interview prior to the sod cutting ceremonies the DCE noted that this is ensure infrastructural boost in the beneficiary communities.
Touching on security issues, he said the assembly has geared up efforts to construct a new police post on the Cape Coast- Kumasi high way to ensure the safty of road users.
He said all projects are to begin as soon as possible to meet its expected time of completion.
