Rainstorm

The Saboba District Assembly has awarded contract for rehabilitation of some schools that were affected by recent rainstorm in the district.

Mr. Ali Adolf G. John, District Chief Executive for the area, disclosed that the Assembly has moved far with the project, as all is set for the contractors to begin works in the affected schools.

He also stated that two communities that were badly hit with the rainstorm have been supported with some items to serve as a temporary relief to their plight in the area.

According to him, the Assembly presented considerable number of roofing sheets to the tune of GHS 10,000 to affected households so as to assist in giving some form of respite as they try raising their lives back in their respective communities.

The affected communities are Chagbani and Kuntuli, all in the Saboba district.
