W AKIM: Chief calls for speedy works on Asamankese-Suhum road

Osaberima Kwaku Amoah III, the chief of Asamankese in the Akim West District has lauded the excellent human relations of the District Chief Executive, George Mensah Akpalu with the chiefs and people of the assembly.
He said such attitudes are very positive for accelerating development and that of which Asamankese and its surrounding environs are beneficiaries of that.
Osaberima Kwaku Amoah III who gave the commendation when the Eastern Regional Minister Victor Smith paid a courtesy called on him during a tour to the district and also commended government for the level of development within the three and half years among them include Asamankese lorry station.
The Asamankesehene was however not impressed at the pace of work on the Asamankese- Suhum road of which is in a deplorable condition.
He therefore appealed to government to express on the contractors working on the road to expedite action to bring relief to the motoring public as well as those in the communities where the roads runs through.
He also appealed to the Town and Country Planning Department to do their work well, especially in granting building permits to reduce the haphard infrastructural development which is gradually becoming a national problem.
