Office complex

Very soon, executives of the Education Directorate of the Nkoranza North District will administer their duties in a new office complex being constructed for them by United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The edifice which will have 16 offices, a conference hall, store rooms and places of convenience is estimated at GHs19.8 million.

Announcing this over the week during a sod cutting ceremony to bring the project into fruition, Dr. Felix Amoako, USAID-Ghana Director said the edifice is expected to be completed within 10 months.

For his part, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Kwadwo Agyei-Dwomor commended USAID for funding the project saying that it will go a long way to improve the standard of education in the district.

Meanwhile the district is among 35 selected deprived areas across the country to benefit from the USAID-funded project with the aim to promote education in those areas.
