AHANTA W: Baiboo Bonsoe SHS emergency block completed

A 6 unit emergency classroom block has been completed at Baiboo Bonsoe Senior High School (SHS) to ease congestion in the school.

This project was however necessitated to help improve upon the mimimal infrastructure  in the school for the promotion of quality education.

The District Chief Executive, Joseph Dofoyenah who disclosed this to Ghanadistricts.com also stressed that the Assembly has also financed the construction of a 2 storey Boy’s dormitory block for the school to augment the infrastructure facilities in the school.

He said the projects were financed through the Ghana Education Trust fund (GETfund) and the District Development Fund (DDF) respectively.

However in other related developments, authentic information gathered indicates that rehabilitation work is progressing steadily on the Apowa market sheds with works about 60% completed to enhance economic activities in the area.

The project which was funded through the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) is exepected to serve as a common market for the community and its surrounding environs.
