TMA: New presiding member elected

A new presiding member, Mr. Romeo Elikplim Akahoho, has been elected for the Tema Metropolitan Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.

The position became vacant when the former presiding member, Mr. Jonathan Otu Okunor, had to leave his position to become an Assembly member in the newly created Kpone District.

Mr. Akahoho who emerged the winner after the election in his acceptance speech said his major concern would be to adopt strategies of improving on the revenue base of the assembly.
He also promised to work hard towards improving the lot of members of the Assembly.

The Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Mr. Robert Ofosuware for his part congratulated and wished him luck in his new position.
