HO: GHs35,490.00 disbursed to disabled

An amount of GHs35, 490.00 has been disbursed to one hundred and eighteen (118) disabled persons in the Ho Municipality in the Volta Region.

Out of the number 94 is expected to invest the money into an income generating venture, 18 for educational purposes and 6 for health.

The Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Edward Gidiglo during the donation indicated the disbursement to be a mandatory requirement by law to help persons with disabilities take hold of their economic lives.

He however admonished them to utilize the money wisely.

On behalf of the disabled, Mr. Alex Akpo, appreciated the gesture and promised the money would be put to good use.
