SUNYANI: 182 projects executed

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Sunyani Municipal Assembly, Mr. Kwasi Oppong Ababio has revealed that about 182 development projects have so far been executed in the area since 2009.

He said those projects are dotted across the length and the breadth of the municipality including sectors such as education, health, agriculture, among others.

Mr. Ababio disclosed this during the sod cutting ceremony for the commencement of construction  of separate 6-unit classroom blocks for the Roman Catholic school at Abesim and Mmredane Municipal Assembly (M/A) Primary school.

He noted that as part of contributions being made  to improve the level of education in the area, the Assembly has sponsored a number of brilliant but needy pupils and students to pursue studies in higher learning in the country.
