The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly is creating an impetus for growth in the health system as the Assembly is constructing a new nurses’ quarters facility for nurses at Kulmasa within the district.
The ongoing project is intended to address the accommodation problems which some of the nurses face in the area as a whole.
Disclosing the project on board, the District Chief Executive for the area, Mumuni Isaac Dramani intimated that the Assembly is seriously supporting the project to make sure that it will be completed as scheduled, so as to quickly help alleviate accommodation challenges for health workers.
He claimed that the Assembly managed to embark on such a project through funds sourced from the District Development Fund (DDF).
The project is however one of the myriads of fine infrastructure development going into the health sector in the district by the Assembly to ensure a sturdy growth of the health system courtesy the “Better Ghana”agenda programme.
