TWIFO: Wamaso residents calls for help

Residents in Wamaso East, an electoral area in the Twifo Heman Lower Denkyira (THLD) District have appealed to government to provide the community school blocks to help improve education in the area.

Information gathered indicates that pupils had to travel over a distance of about 5 kilometers to other nearby communities for proper early education.

The Assemblyman for the area, Godfred Kwame Yamoah, in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com noted that the performance of students in the area had been terrible, adding that the trend could continue if proper attention is not put in place.

He also complained of bad roads in the area making transportation of both farm products in the community difficult.

He also called on the assembly to speed-up works on a on-going borehole at Motiakomfo a suburb community within the electoral area.
