SAWLA: New teachers’ quarters under construction at Soma

In the bid to encourage teachers stay in the area to assist promote quality education, the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly has moved to construct a 3 unit teachers’ quarters for teachers at Soma.

This project embarked upon in the community will partially respond to the usual accommodation challenges which occur due to the huge housing deficit in the system.

Disclosing the project on-board in the area, the District Chief Executive for the area, Mumuni Isaac Dramani said the project was being facilitated through the District Development Fund (DDF).

He also claimed that works on the project is progressing steadily, as contractors were busy on site to complete the project on schedule.

Mr. Dramani therefore promised that the Assembly will offer the necessary support to undertake effective work on the project.
