ABURA:Kwaman, Abura Islamic primary schools renovated

The Abura Asebu Kwamankese District Assembly in the Central Region has taken a swift move to renovate two basic schools which were severely affected by a heavy rainstorm that hit Abura and its surrounding vicinities.
The schools were identified as Kwaman Primary and the Abura Islamic Primary Schools.
Narrating the extent of damage in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, William Ata- Mends said part of the school’s roof were blown off by the heavy winds that accompanied the downpour on that faithful day.
He said the development however compelled authorities to closedown the schools for some few days to enable effective renovation works on the affected classrooms.
According to him, the Assembly upon request from the District Education Director resolved to reroof the entire classroom blocks to restore the situation at the affected schools.
