NZEMA E: New dormitory block for Axim Girls’ SHS
Mr. John T. K. Abugri, assemblyman for Tolenu Electoral Area in the Nzema East Municipality has applauded both past and present governments for improved education in the area.
He said, though most schools in the area have benefited from government initiatives such as the School Feeding, Free uniforms and books, he insisted that his electoral area has benefited tremendously in terms of infrastructure.
Citing examples to support his claims, he said Axim Girls’ Community Senior High School as well as other basic schools have benefited from new projects, adding that the school has benefited from a new Girls’ dormitory block.
Mr. Abugri however called on government to construct a new library facility for the community to enhance education in the area.
In another issues, Mr. Abugri called on the assembly to construct a new public toilet for the community to improve sanitation conditions in the area, adding that a community of about 3000 inhabitants still depends on 10 seater KVIP toilet.
