AJUMAKO: Denkyira North gets new borehole

Residents in the Denkyira North Electoral Area in the Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District have expressed gratitude to the assembly for constructing a new borehole in the area to enhance the flow of potable water in the area.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the assemblyman for the area Kweku Buabeng confirmed that the project which commenced barely a month ago is about 85% completed.

He called on the Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District assembly to expedite works on the project to help improve the community’s acute  water challenges. 

“The project has come as a timely intervention by the assembly to rescue the situation whereby people drink from streams anytime there is water shortage in the area”. He added.

Mr.Buabeng also appealed to the assembly to construct a permanent classroom for pupils in the Presbyterian Kindergarten School who are currently occupying a temporal wooden structure.

He said classes are forced to come to a closure whenever it rains, adding the situation will directly affect students performance if not taken into consideration.
