SAWLA:Construction of new Girls’ dormitory underway

An effort to enhance accommodation for students of the Sawla Girls Vocational Institute has finally materialized as the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly is getting a standard 3 unit Girls’ dormitory block constructed at the school.

The project discharged from the District Development Facility is part of strategies by the Assembly to boost adequate infrastructure for schools in the bid to improve the standard of education in the district.

Mr. Mumuni Isaac Dramani, the District Chief Executive for the area who revealed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com said that works on the project is progressing steadily in the school.

According to him the project ongoing will give the platform to address accommodation challenges in the school, adding that more of such projects are in the pipeline to assist in the promotion of quality education in the district.

He therefore assured that all things being equal the project will be completed on schedule to enable authorities to open up enrollment, as the new facility yet to be completed may give opportunity to address congestion that consequently limits admission of more students.
