School children at Gbemja, a small community in the Saboba district have acquired additional classroom block to support the beneficiary school pace up with infrastructure projects.
Through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) the Assembly has been able to secure a compound 6 unit classroom block with ancillary facilities like office, store, staff common room amongst others to enhance the conduct of teaching and learning.
The provision of adequate school blocks have taken a centre stage in the promotion of quality education in the Mills led NDC administration, as the government through several forms of funding is increasing the construction of structures to eliminate schools under trees.
Meanwhile in order to offer the avenue for residents to readily secure a common place for the organization of social events, the Assembly is making efforts to complete on schedule the construction of a community centre at Saboba.
The project being financed with the District Development Facility (DDF) is almost complete to pave way for inhabitants to access it fully.
