About 4 new local communities of the Sissala East district are getting boreholes through the efforts of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA).
The contractors assigned to discharge the projects in the various areas are already on site to ensure that these projects will be completed on schedule to enable inhabitants ease their stress in the search of potable water.
District Chief Executive for the area, Sulemana Alijata Gbentie highlighting the project in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com noted that works on the project is moving steadily.
She disclosed that residents in the beneficiary communities are excited for acquiring new water facility that will provide them with constant water for use in their homes.
The four communities benefiting from the project are Guosi Upper and Lower, Bakwala, and Nahabakui respectively.
Government through quality efforts is advancing more diverse ways to boost potable water for local communities in the quest to minimize water borne diseases that comes as a result of people resorting to the usage of unpurified water bodies.
