JOMORO: Assembly procures new grader

The Jomoro District Assembly has procured a brand new Grader worth 171 million US dollars as part of efforts to help improve road conditions in the area.
The District Chief Executive, Sylvester Nuomah Daddieh who made this known in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com stated with high expectation that the facility will enhance transportation in the area.
He noted that most road within the district were noted to be in bad state hence the need to procure the facility to help resolve the problem.
The DCE further noted that the moves was also in order to halt the frequent hiring of graders from private individuals and companies thereby cutting cost of road rehabilitation in the area.
Mr.Nuomah Daddieh also stated that the assembly will set-up a committee to take charge of the day to day movements of the grader and ensure the proper maintenance to prolong its life.
