Residents of Bunkpurugu, the district capital of the Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo in the Northern region yesterday experienced what they described as worthy of commendation as streetlights were installed on most of the main roads in the area.
The Assemblyman for Pagnatiik electoral area Hon Kango Gingong who was elated about the project in a conversation observed that thieves who took advantage of the darkness in the past to commit crimes, has reached their retirement due to the streetlights.
“It is a sign of development and indication of better things to come in the district capital,” he said.
Speaking in an interview with the DCE for Bunkpurugu-Yunyoo, Mr. Philip N Laari said the streetlight was just a gist of the iceberg of the better Ghana Agenda adding that more of such development projects would be rolled out very soon.
Mr. Philip pointed out that, the batter Ghana Agenda would fully be met before they go to December polls.
