ASUOGYAMAN: E/R Minister to tour district

The Eastern Regional Minister, Victor Smith will on Wednesday 27 June, 2012 tour the Asuogyaman District to have a firsthand look at some development projects executed under the ruling party’s “Better Ghana" agenda”.

The minister is also expected to officially introduce himself to the chiefs and people of Asuogyaman as the new regional minister.

In education, Mr. Victor Smith will inspect about 49 newly constructed school projects in which some are either completed or still ongoing to boost  education in the area.

On transportation and potable water supply, the ministeris scheduled to inspect the Anum-Boso road, a bailey bridge at Frankadua and about 21 boreholes constructed within some selected communities. 

Finally in the agriculture and energy sectors, the Minister will visit and catch a glimpse of the assembly’s 480 hectare banana farm and also tour as many as 41 communities which have been connected to the national grid.
