L MANYA K: Atua St. Paul School gets new classroom

The Eastern Regional Minister, Mr. Victor Smith has today June, 21 commissioned a new 6-unit classroom block for the Atua St. Paul Primary School in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region.
The facility funded through the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund) at a cost of GHs145, 882 will to a large extent provide a conducive and serene atmosphere for teaching and learning in the area.
Mr. Isaac Agbo-Tetteh, Municipal Chief Executive for Lower Manya speaking at the commissioning ceremony said enough dual desks had been provided for the school.
He mentioned that the 6-unit classroom block was the second project the school had benefited from since he assumed office some years back. He said the first one was a 3 unit classroom block which was jointly funded by the assembly and some development partners.
In another story, the Assembly has provided street bulbs for the installation of streetlights on the street leading to the school.
