DANGME E: Kasseh health centre rehabilitated

The Kasseh Health Centre in the Dangme East District which was nearly abandoned due to the deplorable state of the facility has been finally refurbished, a gesture championed by the Ada Rural Bank.

An amount of GH¢6,000 was spent on partitioning of the recovery ward into units and mattresses and ceiling fans provided as well as connection of the centre to electricity, among others.

Mr. David Narh Sarbah, Board chairman of the Ada Rural Bank handing over the facility to authorities of the Kasseh health centre said the gesture was part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility to society.

Receiving the keys, the physician in charge of the facility, Madam Peace Gidiglo, expressed appreciation to the bank for its support and appealed to the bank and other agencies to help fence the health centre to ward off encroachers.
