E GONJA:SNV Ghana/ Assembly rolls out capacity building programme

The East Gonja District Assembly has partnered SNV Ghana, a non-governmental organization to embark on a capacity building programme for circuit supervisors in the educational circles.
This is a 3 year programme practically meant to school supervisors in the district on some of the best approach required to upgrade their line of operations in the promotion of quality education in the district.
Interacting with Ghanadistricts.com on the new programme being rolled out in the district, the District Chief Executive for the area, Alhassan Mumuni pointed out that the role of the circuit supervisors is relatively crucial in education hence the need to bring on-board such fine programmes to equip them deliver effectively with regards to their work.
He indicated that the modalities designed for the implementation of the programme is to engage these personnel intermittently over the three years specified period and facilitate a range of comprehensive and technical information which could aid them contribute efficiently to give education a facelift in the district.
He was however optimistic that the programme will largely yield the desired results in a piece meal in the promotion of quality education.
