A modern community centre has been constructed for residents at Funsi, the district capital of Wa East to facilitate event organization in the area.
This was secured by the Assembly and forms part of the ways to make the “Better Ghana” agenda meaningful in the district.
Mr. Ameen Salifu, the District Chief Executive for the area, speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com noted that the facility will create the opportunity for individuals to readily acquire a modern and spacious venue for their social activities in the community and beyond.
He indicated that the facility was discharged from the District Development Fund (DDF) with a total amount of GHS 370,000, and disclosed that it will soon be commissioned in the area to pave way for residents to duly access it.
He therefore maintained that the Assembly is focused to achieve massive development in all communities to improve the socio-economic lives of the people living in the area.
