In order to give leverage for the private schools to also benefit from government’s support to the educational sector, the Lower Manya Krobo District Assembly has moved to supply Messiah Preparatory School, a school within the district with some 100 bags of cement.
Acknowledging the outstanding performance of the school in the area, the Assembly thus considered it appropriate to extend support to the school to encourage them keep up their performance.
This will also aid the school authorities to facilitate any form of constructional works in the bid to boost infrastructure projects in the school.
District Chief Executive for the area, Isaac Tetteh Agbo who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com said that the support will consolidate the Assembly’s commitment to promote equal and quality education in the system be ye private or public institution.
He said the gesture was fulfilled through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF), and forms part of the diverse ways to keep the “Better Ghana” agenda on track.
