MFANTSEMAN: Potable water for 8 communities

Government, through the Central Regional Development Commission (CEDECOM) have constructed about 10 boreholes within eight communities in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.
Beneficiary communities include Abeadze Opefi (1), Abeadze Akyease (1), Abeadze Kwekukrom (2), Abeadze Odumase (2), Abankrom (1), Towoboase (1), Npruemkye (1) and Akobima (1) respectively.
The move aimed at ensuring the flow of quality water supply in every village and hamlet of the country as promised in the ruling NDC party’s “Better Ghana” agenda is estimated at a cost of GHs 130,933.75.
In other related developments, Akobima a suburb in the municipality has also benefited from a Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound to improve quality healthcare delivery in the area.
Information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com also indicates that a total amount of GHs 87,963.30 was expended in the completion of the project for inhabitants.
