BONGO: New nurses’ quarters to complement Anafobisi health centre

Nurses’ quarters

The Bongo District Assembly has committed some resources to construct a standard nurses’ quarters facility to complement the Anafobisi health centre.

According to a project document available on the desk of Ghanadistricts.com, a total amount of GHS 61,368.55 has been cited as the cost which was budgeted to push the project in the area.

It is expected that the project will go to address the accommodation challenges which some of the nurses assigned to assist at the centre face due to inadequate housing facilities available for them.

Also, the Assembly is supporting the building of a kitchen at the Bongo hospital to enable the caterers get an enhanced environment for the preparation of meals.

The projects discharged from the District Wide Assistance Project (DWAP) also forms part of ways to bring the “Better Ghana” agenda to bear in the system.
