K NANKANA W:DCE commends government for socio-economic programmes

The District Chief Executive for the Kassena Nankana West District Assembly, Thomas Dalu Addah has expressed confidence in the viability of the various government economic models as the basis to accelerate growth in the local areas.
He claimed that the Local Entreprises and Skills Development (LESDEP), Youth Entreprises and Skills Development (YESDEP), National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP) and the rest have been helpful to give the people a respite in their economic difficulties.
Mr. Dalu Addah made the remarks in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com to highlight the importance of government’s socio-economic interventions being rolled out country wide.
He echoed that those economic programmes coupled with the several other agric interventions were characterized with good potential to bring massive relief to the people in the area.
He therefore lauded government for pushing through such programmes and advised residents, especially the youth to take advantage of it to better their lives in the district.
