A standard clinic facility has been constructed for residents at Buya, in the Kpandai district in the Northern Region to provide the opportunity for inhabitants to access quality healthcare service.
The initiative was undertaken by the government through the Assembly to establish a nearby health facility that will save residents, especially those in the local communities from travelling long distances to access healthcare from major facilities located in the area.
“This was realized courtesy the District Development Fund (DDF)”, the District Chief Executive for the area, Jasper Jatoh Moayi revealed in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.
He further indicated that the Assembly in addition has provided nurses’ quarters for nurses who have been assigned to work at the facility.
He claimed that this was important as it would go a long way to influence the health needs of the people living in the area as well as help promote quality healthcare delivery in the district at large.
