AGONA W:Agona Swedru to get new doctors’ flat

Contract has been awarded for the construction of a new 3-bed room doctors flat for the Agona Swedru Hospital in the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region improve doctors’ accommodation situation in the area.

The development is to enhance poor living conditions and facilitate the work of doctors who had to travel from far distances to work especially in cases of emergency situations.

A document which was made available by the Central Region Development Commission (CEDECOM) also stated that the hospital is also expected to benefit from a new emergency center to improve health delivery in the community.

According to the statements the projects are expected to complete very soon to beef-up infrastructure provisions in the hospital.

However the GHs 150,000.00 projects have already been awarded on contract, with works expected to commence very soon.
