KETU S:Start-up kits for LESDEP beneficiaries

The Local Enterprises and Skills Development Programme, LESDEP continuous to touch the lives of many youth across the country.
In the Ketu South District in the Volta Region, a number of people recently received their start up kits after undergoing weeks of training in their respective fields of business. The materials provide opportunity for them to establish their own economic ventures to enable them fend for themselves and cater for other people.
District LESDEP Coordinator, Mr. Bright Dzila said the scheme distributed 5 outboard motors, 4 tricycles, 3 motor king and 10 spraying machines with cutlasses.
Aside this, 20 people have also completed training in catering services are waiting for their start-up kits to give them the green light to start being their own masters.
Mr Dzila called on all other individuals who have completed training under various models like mobile phone repaires, hairdressing, dress making and the likes to be calm as all of them would be given their kits in due course adding that some of the equipment are currently being assembled for distribution.
He expressed hope that in subsequent months, things would improve and the start up kits would be delivered immediately one graduates.
