BAWKU W: Zebilla market facility under construction

The Member of Parliament for Zebilla in the Upper East Region, Cletus Avoka, through support from government has committed attention to fully complete the construction of the Zebilla market for traders.

The move was initiated in the year 2008 by the erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, but was abandoned just after its exit from government.

At the moment, the facility is nearing completion to offer the opportunity for various traders to move into it to conduct business in the area.

The Assembly member for Zebilla, Agbango Simon Ayande who disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com expressed delight for the swift intervention by government to continue the abandoned project for residents in the district.

He said the Zebilla market is relatively the biggest and much patronized facility in the area, therefore noted that the move is in the right direction and crucial in promoting trade and commerce in the entire district.
