KPANDAI: Nasandin CHPS facility to be ready soon

Residents at Nasandin, a small community in the Kpandai district in the Northern Region will soon get the opportunity to access primary healthcare, as the construction of a Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) centre is near completion in the area.

The initiative is being carried out by the Assembly through funding from the District Development Facility (DDF).

In an interview with the District Chief Executive for the area, Jasper Jatoh Moayi, he said works on the project are almost completed, adding that the facility is recently receiving some furnishings to pave way for full scale operation in the area. 

 The facility will be the first of its kind in the area to offer primary healthcare delivery for residents of the area in response to the health needs and challenges of persons living in the community. 

According to the DCE the project was necessitated by the quest to secure easy accessibility to quality healthcare delivery for all persons in various communities initiated under the “Better Ghana” agenda in the district.
