LAWRA:More structures for Ko SHS

An ultra modern dining hall building is currently under construction at the Ko Senior High School in the Lawra District in the Upper West Region.

In addition, the school also benefitted from a storey building boys’ dormitory block meant to improve accommodation for students of the school.

The projects were initiated through a collaborative effort of the Assembly and the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND).

District Chie Executive for the area, Abu Samson who disclosed this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com intimated that the projects were clear manifestation of the National Democratic Congress, NDC government’s commitment to promote quality education in the area.

He assured that the Assembly will not hesitate to provide more structures to push education forward.

In another development, Getfund is supporting the building of a fence wall at the Eremon Senior High School.

This is geared towards providing enough security in the school, so as to prevent thieves and other encroachers from breaking into the school.
